Vision Team

Dr. Chelvin Sng

Dr. Chelvin Sng is a Consultant and Assistant Professor at the National University Hospital, Singapore who is subspecialty-trained in glaucoma. Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Dr. Sng was amongst the first surgeons in Asia to be accredited in the use of several novel micro-invasive glaucoma surgery devices. She has been a volunteer with Global Clinic for six years, during which she has served in India, Cambodia, Myanmar and Indonesia.

Dr. Anna Tan

Dr. Anna Tan is currently a consultant ophthalmologist at the Singapore National Eye Center with subspecialty interests in medical retina, ophthalmic imaging and visual rehabilitation. She is dedicated to the prevention of blindness and has led many initiatives and mission trips both locally and internationally.

Dr. Don Pek

Dr. Don Pek is a Consultant and anterior segment surgeon with training in Glasgow, Singapore and Canada. With a strong passion for helping people, Dr. Pek has served in several missions to countries such as Cambodia, India, and Myanmar since 2010.

Dr. Tay Su Ann

Dr. Su Ann is passionate about children and treating their eye conditions. Low Siew Ngim

Low has years of experience volunteering around the world by supporting vision outreach programs. She has been involved with Global Clinic Vision Team projects in India and Myanmar.

James Chong

James is a Senior Optometrist with a B.Sc in Optometry, FBDO (Hons) CL and M.Sch in Clinical Optometry. He has worked on Global Clinic missions to India, China, Myanmar and Cambodia since 2011.

Maria Goh

Maria is an Optometrist with a Master of Science in Clinical Optometry. She has been actively volunteering in medical mission trips with the Global Clinic Vision Team since 2010 and has a keen interest in Pediatrics and Contact Lens Optometry.

Tan Zhen Kiat

Zhen Kiat has been practicing as an optometrist since graduating from college with an advanced degree in Optometry. She continues to pursue her passion in optometry while giving back to the community by actively volunteering in medical mission trips with the Global Clinic Vision team over the years.
